The studio
An accessible place for art
Outerheaven is an accessible place where everyone can have access to art. Culture is becoming more and more monetised, and Outerheaven is against that. There is a limit to how low we can take a price — paint and canvas cost what they cost — but real human art is on the brink of disappearing as AI spreads, and that is worth holding a line for.
So we will strive to keep it economically accessible while delivering the highest level of technique. Affordable, never cheap. Each piece is poured by hand, then it lies flat on the bench for two or three weeks — paint keeps its own time and there is no hurrying it. After that I varnish it, fit the hardware, and photograph it myself on the kitchen table. The price stays kind because there is nobody in between us: no middleman, no gallery cut, no printing house. Just me, and then you.
If words can kill, art can heal
I started pouring because I was stressed, and it worked. I am not going to dress that up. The paintings are made to go where the bad days happen — next to your desk, on a wall you walk past every morning, stuck to the fridge with a magnet. Not saved for a nice room nobody sits in.
No lingua franca is needed to enjoy art. Nobody has to explain a pour to you, and you do not have to explain back why you like it. Colour arrives before language does — the piece either stops you or it doesn't.

I haven't taken a commission yet. I'm still working out what I can promise, how long a pour actually takes and what a fair price looks like. Below is my current plan. If you'd want a piece made for your room, tell me now and I'll come back to you when I open it up.

You tell me what you want
A photo of the wall, the size you need and a few colours. Pictures of things you like help.

I make two test pours
Two small pours in your colours, photographed so you can choose. I can also show you roughly how it would look on your wall using augmented reality. A 50% deposit starts this stage.

The pour and the drying
The canvas lies flat for two to three weeks. Pouring cannot be rushed. Then I varnish it.

Packed and sent
Hanging hardware fitted, corners protected, posted anywhere in Mauritius with tracking.

FAQ
Is the piece the same as the photo?
Yes. Every listed piece is the one in the photo. Two pours are never identical, so a similar piece will be close in colour but not the same.
Are the photos edited?
No. I shoot each canvas flat in daylight and leave the colours alone. Nothing here is generated or taken from somewhere else.
How do I care for it?
Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it out of strong afternoon sun. Do not use cleaning products. Everything is varnished with a UV-resistant topcoat before it leaves.
How do I pay?
MCB Juice for now. You message me, I send you a payment request, and the piece is yours once it goes through. Bank transfer also works. There is no checkout page on this site and I store nothing.
Where does it ship from?
Mauritius. On the island I usually deliver it myself or send it by courier within a few days. For anywhere else I check the cost for your country first and tell you before you pay.
Returns?
Case by case. Every piece is one of a kind, so I would rather talk than hide behind a policy. If it arrives damaged, it is on me — send a photo within a few days and I will make it right. If it simply does not suit your wall, message me and we will work it out together, whether that is an exchange for another piece or a return. I would rather a painting come back to me than end up in a cupboard.
